The IRFU Ulster Branch, Donegal Sports Partnership and Finn Valley Rugby Club are joining forces to kick-start the Errigle Eagles, a non-contact tag rugby section for people with an intellectual disability.

The Errigle Eagles will provide a fun way to keep fit and can be attended by men, women and children of all ages and abilities.

Finn Valley Rugby Club will host a 'Come & Try' event at Millbrae, Stranorlar, on Sunday 6th October from 10am-12pm. Staff from the Ulster Branch and Donegal Sports Partnership will be in attendance to support the session which is free and open to those of any age with an intellectual disability.

It is hoped that with interest and support from clubs, coaches, parents and volunteers, more regular sessions will be organised to accommodate anyone interested in participating on an on-going basis.

For those wishing to come along, booking is essential, and is possible by contacting either Gerard Doherty, Finn Valley Rugby Club on 0867355536 or by contacting Thérèse at Donegal Sports Partnership on 0749116078 / 0749116079 or by email on sido@activedonegal.com.
