Ulster Rugby teams up with St John Ambulance for 'Restart a Heart' training

St John Ambulance, in partnership with Ulster Rugby, will host free sessions, open to the public, on life-saving CPR training and defibrillation awareness at Kingspan Stadium on Saturday 14 October.

Restart a Heart is an annual initiative which aims to raise public awareness of cardiac arrests, and increase the number of people trained in life-saving CPR and defibrillator use.

What’s included in the training at Kingspan Stadium?

Each of the five sessions run by St John Ambulance will work through the assessment of a casualty, and providing compression-only CPR. There will also be the opportunity to familiarise yourself with an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).

Who can attend?

Everyone aged 16 or over is welcome to attend, however pre-booking in advance is essential. Attendees must also be capable of getting down on the floor to kneel to take part.
