More than 2000 supporters are expected to descend on Kingspan Stadium on Friday between 3pm and 6.30pm when Ulster Rugby hosts their Family Open Day in association with Official Charity Partner, Cancer Research UK.
The event, which has already sold 1800 tickets, will give families the opportunity to meet their Ulster Rugby heroes either on the pitch or in our specially designed photo-booth. Throughout the day members of the 2014/15 squad will be signing autographs and running skills sessions on the pitch, including a Crossbar Challenge with Paddy Jackson and lineout throwing with Rory Best.
Other activities taking place in the stadium include an inflatable assault course, bouncy castle, climbing wall, face painting, archery, dance classes, science experiments, teddy bear hospital, competitions, free giveaways and a barbeque.
The Family Open Day is the final event in Ulster Rugby’s ‘Kick Cancer into Touch’ initiative. So far supporters have raised over £24,000 for Cancer Research UK, not including the proceeds from the sale of tickets for the Open Day. Thank you to everyone who has made this year’s charity partnership a tremendous success.
Prices start at just £3.00 for a child (under 16 years), £5.00 for an adult and £12.00 for a family ticket (two adults and two children). Tickets for those aged five years and under are free of charge.
Ulster Rugby would like to say a special thank you to its partners Cancer Research UK, CD Group, BMW, Eye Feel Good, Forest Feast, Mash Direct and Kukri Sports for making the event possible.
