Game Day Guide: Ulster V Scarlets

1. Match Update: Ruan Pienaar and Dan Tuohy return to the starting line-up tomorrow having recovered from their respective injuries. Neil Doak has made four changes to the team that faced Munster last weekend with Tommy Bowe and Robbie Diack returning from International duty. For the official team announcement please click here.

Tomorrow Ulster fans are encouraged to support our charity partner of the year, Mencap by wearing Christmas jumpers and festive footwear to continue our Big Step Forward Appeal.

You can support Mencap's Big Step Forward Appeal by purchasing an Official Ulster Rugby 2015 Calendar from the main Ticket Office, Kukri Store, URSC Information Point, online and from selling points around the ground. All proceeds from the sale of the calendar will go towards the appeal.

Tomorrow night Andrew Trimble will be in the URSC Information Point and Jared Payne and Ricky Lutton will be in the Kukri Shop signing calendars from 6.40pm to 7.10pm. We hope to see you there!

2. Ticket Update: Tickets are still available for tomorrow’s must-win European Champions Cup showdown against Scarlets, kick off 7.45pm at Kingspan Stadium. You can purchase tickets by clicking here, calling 028 9049 3222 Ext 2 or by visiting the Ulster Rugby Ticket Booth when gates open tomorrow at 5.45pm.

Tickets that are due to be collected can be picked up at the Ticket Booth located at the Onslow Parade gate on the Ravenhill Road side of the ground from 5.45pm. For general ticket information you can visit the mainTicket Office (located behind the Food Village in the reception of Head Office) from 5.45pm, during the match and 30 minutes after the final whistle).

3. Ulster Rugby Values: We are proud that a night at Kingspan Stadium watching the Ulster Rugby team play is a safe, enjoyable, inclusive experience for people of any age. We have a number of traditions that we believe make our stadium one of the best places in Europe to watch live rugby. 

Here are our Ulster Rugby values and we ask all our fans to support them throughout the season:

- We are passionate in our support of the Ulster team.
- We are silent during kicks at goal by both teams. 
- We respect the match officials’ decisions.
- We drink responsibly. 
- We are mindful of our language, especially when there are children and young people near us. 
- We do not tolerate sectarian, homophobic or derogatory language. 
- We respect the opposition players, supporters, management and officials.

4. Heineken Quarter Bar – Legends of ‘99 - Want to have a Heineken with some of the legends from the Ulster ’99 side?

A few of the Heineken Cup winners will be in the Heineken Quarter Bar at Kingspan Stadium from 6.15pm chatting to fans about their #STARMOMENTS and their Heineken Cup victory. 

The legends are in the bar celebrating Heineken’s status as the founding partner of the European Rugby Champions Cup.  They are even going to give something back to the fans…pints!  

So make sure you get down early and say hello to the men that gave Ulster fans so many #STARMOMENTS

Fans can share their experience on social media using #STARMOMENTS to win tickets to an upcoming Ulster game! The Heineken Quarter Bar is located under the main Grandstand between Entrance Door 1 and 2. (Over 18’s.)

5. Match Programme: The Ulster Rugby match programme will be on sale from 5.45pm in the stadium. The programme contains match information, player profiles, team sheets, partner competitions, local rugby news, OUR Club junior activities, interviews with Chris Henry and Roger Wilson and also a special tribute to Dr Jack Kyle.

Golden Tickets: To celebrate Christmas, Hastings Hotels, Ulster Rugby’s Official Hotel Partner have hidden 10 golden tickets inside the match programme. Giving 10 lucky fans the chance to win hotel vouchers worth £50 each or afternoon tea vouchers worth £60. Look out for a golden ticket in your match programme!

6. The BT Crossbar Challenge is Back!

Ever dreamt of taking to the Kingspan Stadium pitch and kicking for goal like Paddy Jackson or Ruan Pienaar? Well tomorrow at the Ulster v Scarlets match BT, the Official Communications Partner of Ulster Rugby, is giving five fans the chance to do just that and win £2,000 if they can strike the cross bar from the 22 metre line. Fans who want to take part in the next #BTCrossbarChallenge ahead of the Ulster v Leicester match in January should watch out for more information on Ulster Rugby’s twitter account.

8. Power NI Street Chargers: Phone battery running low? We have the solution!

Ulster Rugby partner, Power NI has introduce StreetCharge solar phone charging stations to Kingspan Stadium. The first of its kind in Northern Ireland, these innovative new charging stations work at the same speed as a standard wall socket charger but instead use 100% solar power. They are completely safe and free for fans to use to give your battery a quick boost. Two stations are available beside the Memorial Archway. 

(Top tip: close down any open applications and temporarily switch your phone off or onto airplane mode to make charging even quicker)

10. Kingspan Stadium Update: Kingspan are offering one lucky Ulster fan, plus a friend the opportunity to train with the Ulster squad simply by tweeting a #SUFTUM selfie from Kingspan Stadium at tonight's game.

Simply take a selfie of you/your friends enjoying the action against Ospreys and tweet the image to @KingspanStadium with the #SUFTUM before midnight on Sunday 23rd November.

The winner, with the best selfie will then be announced by U105 legend, Frank Mitchell on his Monday morning show and also via Twitter. The winner will then be invited, along with a friend, to attend Kingspan Stadium in April to take part in a training session with members of the Ulster Rugby squad.
