Get Active with Ulster Rugby

The Belfast Health Development Unit has awarded Ulster Rugby a £10,000 Active Belfast Grant for the delivery of an exciting health and wellbeing programme.

The project, entitled 'Get Active with Ulster Rugby', will deliver outdoor bootcamps, nutrition activities and capacity building opportunities to sedentary people in conjunction with Include Youth and NI Alternatives.

Participants will take part in a variety of graduated sessions designed to improve each individual’s confidence, fitness and knowledge of the breadth of activities available in their local communities.

The project will commence in the coming weeks and run to March 2018 with the aim of improving health, physical fitness and overall wellbeing through sport.
