Duane McCreadie, Gilbert-Ash Site Manager says “The 'seat sale' has been a huge success, and it is going to make a big difference to local charities, communities groups and sports clubs in the forthcoming months.”
The seats have now been removed and the requested seats are packaged and ready for collection. There will be two open nights at Ravenhill to facilitate collection:
Thursday 30th May - 4.00pm to 8.00pm
Tuesday 4th June - 4.00pm to 8.00pm
Payment will be collected on the night, and can either be in the form of a cheque made payable to 'Gilbert-Ash Ltd' or by cash. Please bear with the staff as they try to get the seats distributed as quickly as possible. They have built a few buildings in their time; however this is the first time they have sold thousands of seats for charity!
In addition to the seat sale we will be holding a competition as a final farewell to the old seats:
Ulster Rugby and Gilbert-Ash Ltd would love to know where the seats end their journey. To enter all you have to do is send a photo or story of the seat / seats once you have them in their final location. The competition will close at the end of August 2013. So you have plenty of time to be creative. Entries should be sent to seats@gilbert-ash.co.uk and the best one will be chosen to win an Ulster Rugby signed jersey.
