Last Sunday saw the Girls Regional Development Squads' programme culminate with a final combined session at Armagh RFC, with the Eastern Squad joining the Western Squad.

The session involved skill-based activities along with reduced and collective work, finishing off with a game. This was lead by Community Rugby Officers Jonathan Gillespie and Darren McGuigan, with help from Female Rugby Officers Zoe Templeton, Neal Johnston and Glenda Mellon.

The programme was introduced this year for three reasons:
1) To provide access to high quality coaching
2) Give you players a head start in relation to pre-season work
3) Increase the players' technical knowledge therefore helping to improve standards within the club game.
