Girls put new Rugby skills to the test!

Over 60 girls attended a secondary schools tag blitz on Thursday, organised by Regional Development Officer Zoe Templeton and CCRO Charlie Farrell at Integrated College Dungannon.

The girls from local schools Aughnacloy College, Integrated College Dungannon and Royal School Dungannon have been involved in rugby programmes delivered during their PE lessons and after school by Zoe and Charlie for the past number of months.

They finally got the chance to put all their new skills to the test as two teams from each school got the chance to play against each other. These girls will then be involved in girls schools’ cup competitions in March and April.

A big thank you to Integrated College Dungannon for hosting the event, and also to Neal Johnston, Matthew Morrow, Jemma Jackson and Zoe Templeton for refereeing and helping with running of the event.
