We have a number of playing opportunities over the upcoming months which are open to all girls aged 11-17 whether an experienced player or a complete novice.
Every month between now and May 2017 a local Club, with the assistance of Ulster Rugby, will be hosting a mini and youth girls’ rugby blitz. These blitzes are open to any girls born between 1st July 1998 and 31st December 2006 who are not involved in the Ulster Branch Youth Girls’ U15 and U18 League Competitions. No playing experience is required.
Each blitz will offer various levels of participation to suit the players involved. Ulster Rugby coaches will deliver workshops on tackle technique; there will be contact rugby matches for experienced U12, U13, U15 and U18 players and a nursery pitch for beginners focusing on basic skills using the tag/touch rugby format.
The first of these blitzes is scheduled to take place at Clogher Valley RFC on Sunday 23rd October starting at 1:00pm.
If you or your daughter would be interested in attending please text the following information to 07767 115 764 or email it to neal.johnston@ulsterrugby.com before 9:00am on Wednesday 19th October:
· Parent name (and contact details if different from the phone number/email being used to send the information)
