Girls Schools to represent Ulster at Aviva GX7s

19 girls schools teams from across Ulster took part in a provincial blitz in the newly modified Seven's rugby event, GX7s, which was held at Clogher Valley RFC and Fivemiletown College on Wednesday 20th April.

Both Junior (Years 9-11) and Senior (Years 12-14) teams took part from the following schools:
  • Antrim Grammar School
  • Aquinas Grammar School
  • Enniskillen Collegiate
  • Fivemiletown College
  • Kilkeel High School
  • Limavady Grammar School
  • Loreto, Letterkenny
  • Magh Ene College, Bundoran
  • Monaghan Collegiate
  • Our Lady and St Patricks College, Knock
  • Rosses Community School, Dungloe
  • Shimna Integrated College, Newcastle
  • St Columba’s College, Stranorlar
  • Strabane Academy
 
The Senior teams were playing for one of four spaces to represent Ulster at next week’s GX7s tournament at the Aviva Stadium. Congratulations to Enniskillen Collegiate, Kilkeel High School, Magh Ene College and Monaghan Collegiate who secured the four top spots and will be travelling to Dublin to face schools from Connacht, Leinster and Munster on Wednesday 27th April.

A big thank you to Clogher Valley RFC and Fivemiletown College for hosting the event.  Thanks also to the various schools for giving their girls the time out of school to take part in what proved to be a fantastic event!
