Important match day information ahead of the 2019/20 season

There are some changes to match day operations ahead of the new season, with FonaCAB withdrawing its taxi rank from inside the stadium grounds. In order to offset the impact of this on supporters, Ulster Rugby is working to provide additional ‘Park and Ride’ facilities. Details of transport options to and from matches, and restrictions that are in place around the stadium on match days, are outlined below. TRANSPORT OPTIONS The Pirrie Park and Montgomery Road ‘Park and Ride’ services will operate as normal. We are also exploring venues in the Castlereagh Road areas to provide an additional service. As with previous years, a free City Centre Shuttle Bus service will operate from Kingspan Stadium to Victoria Square for up to two hours after the final whistle. A Translink Metro Rugby Special Bus is in operation from Europa Bus Centre and SS Moore’s 90 minutes before kick-off. It is advised that taxis are pre-ordered for pick-up at a local rank. LOCAL ACCESS Access to Onslow Parade is restricted from 4 hours before kick-off and 1 hour after the final whistle (bus services only). Access to Mount Merrion Avenue is restricted from 30 minutes before the final whistle and 1 hour after the final whistle (bus services only). Please note that taxis can only pick up outside the stadium from when the above roads re-open (1 hour after final whistle). Disabled access to the stadium must be pre-arranged by emailing Jennifer.McFedries@ulsterrugby.com. Please respect our local residents when travelling to and from the stadium and refrain from parking in the vicinity of the stadium.
