PURPOSE:

To assist Instonians in meeting their Youth Development Strategy and associated goals.

The person appointed will have as their main priorities delivering an introduction to rugby programme in local schools and the community, and the recruitment of players from a diverse range of backgrounds in the age range 11-13 years.

In particular he/she will work in targeted primary/secondary schools and offer an outreach programme in them. These schools are likely to be in the South and West Belfast areas and will build on work already commenced in the 2012/13 season. He/she will assist the Under 13 coach on club coaching nights and attend appropriate youth games on a Saturday.

DURATION OF CONTRACT:

Initially, until 29th March 2014 (extension dependant on funding).

WORKING HOURS:

16 hours per week in period 13th October 13 - 29th March 14. Most sessions will be in the outreach programme to schools with 1 session at club coaching and 1 session on match day.
