The Ireland coaching group have announced the 23 players that will line out against Scotland at BT Murrayfield on Saturday afternoon in Round 2 of the Guinness Six Nations.
Captain Rory Best is joined in the front row by Cian Healy and Tadhg Furlong. Quinn Roux comes in at lock to partner James Ryan while Sean O’Brien and Jack Conan are introduced to the backrow with Peter O’Mahony retained on the blindside flank.
Conor Murray and Johnny Sexton are named at 9 and 10 respectively with Fivemiletown native Chris Farrell coming in to partner Bundee Aki in the centre. Rob Kearney is named at fullback with Keith Earls and Jacob Stockdale on the wings.
John Cooney, who scored a try in his Six Nations debut last weekend is once again named on the bench, along with Sean Cronin, Dave Kilcoyne, Andrew Porter, Ultan Dillane, Josh van der Flier, Joey Carbery and Jordan Larmour.
