Players are advised to follow the traffic light system of 'Stop, Inform, Rest, Return' and all players, coaches and officials are reminded that any player with a suspected concussion must be removed immediately from training/play and should be medically assessed.
A copy of the poster has been posted to 350 clubs and schools throughout Ireland and if you would like one please email sportsmedicine@irfu.ie with your name and full postal address.

The poster forms part of the SAFE-Rugby programme that provides rugby specific first aid training to clubs and schools.
Level 1 courses are for club and school coaches, officials, referees, parents/guardians (1 day) and level 2 courses are for medical/paramedical staff (1 day).
