Leading building materials manufacturer, Kingspan, has extended its sponsorship with Ulster Rugby in a new two year deal that will see the company's logo featured on the back of the Province's playing shirt for the first time. As part of the sponsorship, Kingspan, who have been a sponsor of Ulster Rugby for almost ten years, will retain their pitch-side branding at Ravenhill and will continue to have their branding on the senior squad's playing socks.
Ralph Mannion, managing director of Kingspan said: Â
"Kingspan is delighted to be continuing with our sponsorship of Ulster Rugby;Â the relationship between our two organisations is one of the most enduring businesss-sporting partnerships in Northern Ireland and one that continues to prove highly mutually beneficial on an international stage.
Â
"We are proud to see Ulster Rugby continue to perform at the highest level in world rugby, as evidenced by the fact that they have reached the knock out stages of the Heineken Cup for the last three years, and we are pleased to have been a part of that success.  We would like to help build on the progress made so far, and our support for the club will be extended to sponsoring more of the players' kit, so next season Kingspan branding will appear on both the socks and shirts, as well as around the ground."
Commenting on the deal, Phillip Polack, Business Development Manager at Ulster Rugby said:
"We are pleased that this new deal cements our relationship with Kingspan for a further two seasons. Kingspan are an ambitious group of companies, focused on leading its industry in markets right across the globe. In Ireland, the UK and Europe, Kingspan have been great supporters and partners of Ulster Rugby for many years and we now look forward to supporting the growth of one and others businesses during this next phase of our partnership." Â
The 2013/14 playing jersey, featuring Kingspan on the back, was worn for the first time against Leinster at Ravenhill on 23rd August.
