A group of young people from Ledley Hall in East Belfast have been attending gym sessions at Malone RFC over the past six weeks.
Community Rugby Coach, Neill Alcorn, has delivered sessions to around 9-12 boys and girls over the past six weeks. Feedback on the initiative has been great, with plenty of enjoyment and visible improvements.
Ledley Hall Boys and Girls Club, which is based just off the Beersbridge Road, are planning to continue with the programme and are also hoping to do a rugby based project over the Easter Break.
This coaching was made possible due to the generous support of the NI Executive and the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure through the 'Promoting Equality, Tackling Poverty and Social Exclusion through Sport' programme.
