Ulster Rugby really is ‘like no other’! It’s the best night out; the atmosphere is so much fun. There’s nothing better than coming down to Kingspan Stadium on a Friday night with friends or family, soaking up the friendly, fun-filled atmosphere. Getting a wee drink at the bar, going to the food village and seeing the players warm-up is brilliant. It’s all about embracing the game and having a great fun night out.
I love to stand in the terraces to watch the game because the atmosphere there is electric, especially when Ulster score a try, or when the team runs out. Everyone is standing up for the Ulster men. It’s amazing and such good fun.
I used to come to matches on a Friday night with my husband and three sons who are all big rugby fans. They just love to come along. They are different ages ranging from 9 to 14. Each one of them can’t get enough of the rugby! They love to come and see the players and Sparky, getting some chips and having the best time.
This has been such an exciting season for Ulster Rugby. They have played so many great teams from all different parts of the world, so it’s been brilliant to come to Kingspan Stadium to watch them play against teams like Toulouse. My kids are so inspired by the young players in the team; they have seen some of them come up through the Academy and have the desire to be those boys on the pitch. It’s just lovely to see a young team of great guys who are so inspirational to all.
