Following a successful six week block of coaching from Ulster Rugby's Marc Beggs, Lurgan Model Primary School has started an after-school programme.
Beggs, a Community Rugby Coach for the Lurgan and Portadown area, has recently completed a rugby programme to 44 boys and girls in P6 and P7. The focus was on developing their catching and passing skills through tag rugby and it has proved hugely successful with a large uptake in the extra-curricular sessions.
