DV8 is a Youth Sports project which aims to provide local young men and women with the opportunity to get more involved in sport, either as a participant, coach, or volunteer.
A key element of the project is to provide the participants with the chance to experience sports that they would traditionally not have the opportunity to try, so with that aim in mind the enthusiastic group where led through a series of rugby based fitness games and drills by Ulster Rugby’s Fitness Development Coach at Lurgan Rugby Club.
This activity has been made possible due to the generous support of the NI Executive and the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure through the ‘Promoting Equality, Tackling Poverty and Social Exclusion through Sport’ Programme.
