To make this dream a reality, the Tornadoes have embarked on an ambitious fundraising campaign. Their goal is to ensure that every team member can participate in this global event, regardless of their financial circumstances.
To raise awareness and funds, the team has launched a unique challenge: spelling out "Tornadoes" by completing Parkruns at specific locations across Ulster. Each letter of the word corresponds to a particular Parkrun, and the team aims to conquer them all in alphabetical order, finishing in Stormont on 14 December 2024.
So far, they've successfully tackled "T" at Fisherman's Walk, "O" at Orangefield, "R" at Ravenhill, and "N" at Newtownabbey. The team is now focused on conquering "A" at Armagh, "D" at Downpatrick, the second "O" at Ormeau, "E" at ECOs, and finally "S" at Stormont.
The Tornadoes are inviting supporters, rugby enthusiasts, and anyone inspired by their story to join them on their Parkrun adventures. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, your participation will help fuel their journey to Pamplona.

The groups for the International Mixed Ability Rugby Tournament have been drawn, and first up the Tornadoes face Club Alcobéndas from Spain, Italian Clubs Est from Italy and Derby Bucks RFC from England. The tournament kicks off on 22 June 2025. For more information on the tournament, visit here.
