Kingspan Stadium will play host to Ireland's final game in the Guinness Women's Six Nations, as they take on Scotland (Sat 27 Apr, 2.30pm).

What's at Stake

It's super Saturday in the Guinness Women's Six Nations, with the 4.45pm meeting of France and England set to be a championship decider.

However, there is still plenty for Ireland and Scotland to play for, currently placed 5th and 3rd respectively in the table. Unless Italy win big over Wales in Cardiff the first of the day's games (kick-off 12.15pm), then the Ireland v Scotland game could effectively be a qualifier for next year's World Cup in England.

The last time Ireland and Scotland met at Kingspan Stadium in 2022, Ireland secured a memorable 15-14 victory in the final play of the game, so this is expected to be another tight encounter.

Team News

Ulster's Brittany Hogan starts at number 8 with her provincial team-mates Sadhbh McGrath and Fiona Tuite named among the replacements.

There are three changes to the starting XV from Ireland's last outing, with co-captain Sam Monaghan returning to the second row, Enya Breen named at centre and Méabh Deely starting at fullback.

GETTING TO KINGSPAN STADIUM

Kingspan Stadium is located in a residential area with parking restrictions and road closures in the immediate area on match-day.

Please do not park in the streets around the stadium, which are required for safe egress and emergency vehicles. Illegal parking will result in ticket fines.

FREE PARK & RIDE

A free of charge Park & Ride service will be in operation along Montgomery Road on the Mount Merrion side of the stadium (opposite Podium for Sport). There are plenty of car parking spaces available and free buses run constantly along these routes from 90 minutes prior to the game until 90 minutes after the final whistle.

PARK & STRIDE

A secure match day parking facility at Belfast Metropolitan College Castlereagh campus is also available, which is a 10 minute walk from the Mount Merrion Avenue entrance to the stadium. The cost is just £5 per car which can be paid by contactless payment on arrival or you can pre-book online.

AT THE STADIUM

FAN ZONE:

  • The Kingspan Stadium Fan Zone will be up and running from gates open at 1pm.
  • Pick up your free Ireland team flags at the turnstiles to show your support.
  • The Cool FM Crew will provide the pre-match soundtrack to build up the excitement.
  • Championship sponsors Guinness will be handing out free samples of Guinness 0.0 in the Fan Zone.
  • Aer Lingus will be asking supporters: "Can you roar louder than a jet engine?", where fans will be invited to roar as loud as possible and it will be measured in decibels. Fans have the chance to win Avios points or the overall prize of a trip abroad to a Six Nations city, as well as a free hat for participating.
  • Match programmes will be available to purchase from sellers in the Fan Zone.
  • The Ulster Rugby Kukri Store will be open from gates open until 4pm.
  • The Food Village, Kukri Store and public bars all accept contactless or cashless payments.

STADIUM BARS:

  • The Scrum, Lineout & Clubhouse bars will be in operation from gates open.
  • The Wales v Italy Women's Six Nations match will be shown in bars.
  • Drinks can be consumed inside the public bars, within the Fan Zone or in your seats / terrace.

ALSO ON THE PITCH:

  • At half-time, the girls rugby teams from Virginia, City of Armagh, Omagh and Corinthians will take part in exhibition games on the pitch.
