The Danske Bank Girls Tag Schools' Cup Final will take place at Kingspan Stadium on Tuesday 22nd March, kick off 1.00pm. This year sees Enniskillen Collegiate return for their eighth appearance to face first timers, Ballyclare High School.Â

56 teams from 40 schools across the Province entered the competition this year. Both teams remain unbeaten this season and they have weathered some tough challenges on their way to the final. Enniskillen were put to the test when they met Loreto College, Cavan in the quarter final stages. They also faced tough opposition in the form of Omagh Academy at the semi-final stage, however their experience allowed them to come out on top with a close 3-2 win. Enniskillen will be looking to secure their seventh victory in eight years on Tuesday.
Ballyclare HS breezed their way through their qualifying and quarter-final group stages but faced a tougher test in the form of Grosvenor Grammar School in the semi-final. A full time score of 2-2 meant the teams faced extra-time. During this period, Ballyclare were able to touch down twice to book their place in the final at Kingspan Stadium with a 4-2 win.
Both schools have shown resilience and the ability to handle pressure when things get tough. They have an abundance of talent throughout their squads, with exciting key players on both sides. These ingredients combine to make what promises to be an extremely exciting and closely fought final. There isn't much to separate these two sides so both have everything to play for on Tuesday.
