QUB 2XV were in last year's final, but lost to Cooke RFC and so will be coming back to Kingspan fighting for that title. Queen's have had convincing wins against Malone II in the first round defeating them 68-7, and in the semi-finals saw off Instonians 2XV with a score of 15-8 in a closely contested battle.
Grosvenor will be hoping for a repeat of the 2022 final, in which they made it three wins in a row in the McCrea Cup, defeating QUB 2XV 21-15 here at Kingspan Stadium. Grosvenor beat last year's winners in the first round of this year's competition 16-19, amd had a strong win against CIYMS in the semi-final, defeating them 18-41.
Both teams have great experience in the finals at Kingspan and so this is shaping up to be an exciting game.
