Medical Update Meeting

In keeping with our commitment towards player safety and care, the Ulster Rugby Medical Committee are holding another teaching meeting for doctors and physiotherapists whether involved in rugby or not. This will take place in the 1924 Bar at Kingspan Stadium (enter via the rear of the Grandstand), on Tuesday 2nd October, 2018. The programme will begin with registration and tea / coffee from 6.00-6.30pm, followed by presentations from: - Dr David Irwin: Rugby medicine from both sides; player and doctor. - Mr David Wilkinson: Rugby injuries: the referee’s perspective. - Dr Phil Glasgow: Management of hip and groin pain. - Dr Phil McClelland: The pitch side doctor - what’s in my bag and other top tips. There is no fee for this meeting, and we hope as many club doctors and physiotherapists as possible will be able to attend.
