Millar McCall Wylie Junior Cup: Semi-Final Draw

The draw has taken place for the penultimate round of fixtures in the Millar McCall Wylie Junior Cup.
City of Armagh 2nd XV v Instonians
Cooke v Clogher Valley

Both of these fixtures must be played on or before the 30th of April, 2022. The final will take place at Kingspan Stadium on the 14th of May, 2022, with the winner of City of Armagh 2nd XV v Instonians deemed as the home team on the day.

The fixtures were drawn by Jan Cunningham, partner at Millar McCall Wylie and former Ulster Rugby player, and Ulster Branch Senior Vice President Philip Gregg.

The competition was last played in 2020, culminating in Enniskillen beating City of Armagh 2nd XV 18-17 in a closely contested final at Kingspan Stadium.

The Millar McCall Wylie Junior Cup has been in existence since the 1888-89 season, with the law firm taking up sponsorship for the 19th year in a row.

Jan Cunningham said: “The Junior Cup is a wonderful competition and a great platform for club players to make a name for themselves. We are very proud to lend our support to developing the club game.

“With the Junior Cup final being played at Kingspan Stadium, it is a fantastic opportunity for the finalists’ fans to see great club rugby taking place at the home of Ulster Rugby.”
