Murray Houston: Connacht Q+A

Ulster's Senior Womens' Head Coach looks ahead to Round 3 of the Vodafone Interprovincial Championship against Connacht Rugby at the Sportsground Stadium. (KO: 2.30pm)

Q Murray, we conclude the Vodafone Interprovincial Series this weekend against Connacht, how have you reviewed the first two rounds?

In the first two rounds there some really promising signs. For the majority of the game against Munster we were really competitive and created lots of chances. Leinster we started slowly but showed some good moments in the second half.

Q How is morale in the camp after last weekend’s match against Leinster?

There was a really good energy on Monday. The team were not satisfied with the overall performance and have been determined to work hard to fix that for the weekend.

Q Where there any specific things that you were pleased with from the match?

After Leinster were so dominant in the first half, it was good to see the team rally in the second half. We created some good opportunities and we have been looking at how we capitalise on them.

Q What do you expect from Connacht at the Sportsground Stadium?

They like to move the ball and kick well. We had a great contest with them in Enniskillen before the interprovincial championship so we know plenty about each other.
