Musa Hosts Ulster Rugby Primary Schools Festival

Almost 200 children participated an Ulster Rugby Primary Schools Rugby Festival at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena, Cookstown, on Wednesday.



15 schools attended after they all received coaching from Community Rugby Coaches under the DCAL funded 'Promoting Equality, Tackling Poverty and Social Exclusion through Sport' programme.

Participating Teams:
Newry area: St. Patrick's The Meadow PS, St. Peter's PS, St. Joseph's PS
Craigavon area: Drumgor PS, Moyallen PS, Carrick PS
Belfast area: Cliftonville PS, Sacred Heart PS, St. Joseph's PS, Wheatfield PS, Harding Memorial PS, Avoniel PS.
North West area: Drumachose PS (Limavady), St. Theresa's PS (Strabane), Ebrington PS (Londonderry)

This event and prior coaching has been made possible due to the generous support of the NI Executive and the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure through the 'Promoting Equality, Tackling Poverty and Social Exclusion through Sport' Programme.

Ulster rugby would also like to thank Mid Ulster Sports arena for the use of their facilities and Donnelly group for providing transport for schools to the event.
