Foyle College hosted the first North West girls school blitz on Thursday 19th November.
100 girls from Foyle College, Limavady GS, St. Columba’s Stranorlar and Loreto Letterkenny came together to play U15 and U18 contact matches and do skills sessions. The girls have now all been invited to a Youth Blitz at City of Derry on Sunday 30th November.
The growth of schoolgirl rugby has been made possible due to the generous support of the NI Executive and the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure through the 'Promoting Equality, Tackling Poverty and Social Exclusion through Sport' programme.
