The draw took place in Irwin’s Bakery in Portadown for the 2023/24 Nutty Krust U18 Tournament.
Now in its 45th Year of sponsorship, this tournament will be played at Chambers Park, home of Portadown Rugby Football Club, over a seven night period during February and March, culminating in the final on Wednesday 27 March.
The draw was organised by Gary Jackson, organiser of the Nutty Krust U18 Tournament, and was conducted by Brian Irwin, Chairman of Irwin’s Bakery, and Denis Gardiner, President of the Ulster Branch, IRFU.
Also in attendance were Stewart Irwin, Irwin’s Bakery, Bobby Stewart, former President of the Ulster Branch, IRFU and member of the Nutty Krust Committee, Ian Wray, Chairman of Portadown RFC, along with Clive Bowles and Barney McGonigle, members of the Nutty Krust Committee.
Banbridge, the current holders of the Nutty Krust Trophy, were accompanied in the draw by teams from Armagh, Dungannon, Omagh, Portadown and Rainey Rugby Clubs.
