Player Welfare Seminar: Banbridge Rfc

On Wednesday 21st January 2015, the IRFU in conjunction with Ulster Rugby, is hosting information seminars entitled 'Concussion Recognition and Management' at Banbridge RFC. This follows a number of similar seminars which have been delivered over the past couple of years.



These seminars are aimed at players, parents, teachers, coaches and officials at all levels of the game. We need to create awareness and provide information to everyone playing, coaching, officiating or involved in any way at each of our clubs and schools.

The date and venue of the seminar is as follows:

In order to make the seminar as meaningful as possible, all attendees are asked to register and complete the IRB ‘Concussion Management Interactive Learning Module’ (please note you will be required to create a log in). At the end of the online module you will be issued with a certificate of completion, which you should print off and bring to the seminar.

NB. The IRFU’s specific policy in relation to ‘Graduated Return to Play’ protocols, remains different to the IRB protocols. The specific detail of the IRFU Concussion Policy and GRTP is available here.
