The players of Ulster Rugby were on hand to support a number of club, schools and community initiatives throughout the Province over the past number of weeks. Here is a snapshot of some of the activity… Sunday 9th September - Hope Sunday Ulster Rugby Head Coach Dan McFarland plus players Craig Gilroy, James Hume, Adam McBurney and Stuart McCloskey were among a large gathering that attended Hope Sunday at Parliament Buildings lending their support to World Suicide Prevention Day. Wednesday 12th September - Can’t Cook Won’t Cook Ulster captain Rory Best, along with Jacob Stockdale and Louis Ludik took part in a ‘Can’t Cook Won’t Cook’ demonstration at the Cancer Fund for Children’s therapeutic short break facility at Daisy Lodge in Newcastle. Thursday 20th September - Mosamaria Trust Fund While on tour in South Africa, the Ulster squad visited the children from the Mosamaria Trust Fund, which supports the work of the Mosamaria AIDS Ministry in the Free State. 17th-23rd September – Good Relations Week Chris Henry and Jacob Stockdale were delighted to weigh in to support the 2018 Good Relations Week campaign. Tuesday 25th September - QUB RFC 150th Season Launch Iain Henderson attended the historic 150th season launch at Queen’s University Belfast, along with former Ulster team-mate Tommy Bowe, who also represented Queen’s while studying.
