Ulster Rugby's Fitness Development Coach Paul Heasley has been assisting Portadown College with gym inductions for their Year 12-14 rugby players.

The school has arranged for a weekly session for a Year 12 group and a combined Year 13/14 group in One Fitness, located at Portadown RFC but run independently from the club. This has been arranged by the school's coach Stephen McDowell, as they have no gym facilities of their own.

Heasley will provide a monthly update on the gym programme throughout the season for the players.

This assistance has been made possible due to the generous support of the NI Executive and the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure through the 'Promoting Equality, Tackling Poverty and Social Exclusion through Sport' programme.
