Campaign so far

Ulster and Leinster currently top the BKT United Rugby Championship standings with a maximum 10 points from their opening two fixtures.

Ulster kicked off the season with an impressive 36-10 bonus point victory over Connacht at Kingspan Stadium. In Round 2, a thrilling 12-try encounter played out at Parc y Scarlets as Ulster raced into an early lead, securing the four-try bonus point in the first half. Scarlets rallied in the second half, with Ulster having to kick into gear again to run out 39-55 winners.

Leinster began their campaign away to Zebre and just about escaped with a nervy 29-33 victory. In Round 2 Leinster also faced Italian opposition - Benetton at home - and it was a much more straightforward win with hooker Dan Sheehan scoring four of his team's six tries as they ran out 42-10 winners.
