Campaign so far
After the perfect start of two bonus point wins in the opening two rounds over Connacht (home) and Scarlets (away), Ulster slipped to their only defeat of the season at home to Leinster at a rain-sodden Kingspan Stadium in Round 3. Ulster rebounded emphatically with a bonus point win over Ospreys (home), then recorded a spectacular 37-39 victory over the Lions in Johannesburg. An outbreak of illness in the squad meant they were unfortunately unable to play the following week against the Sharks. Just before the international break, Ulster travelled down to Limerick and held on for a hard fought 14-15 win over Munster to leave them in second place in the URC standings.
Despite currently occupying bottom place in the URC league table with no wins from their opening seven games, Zebre Parma have caught the eye with some battling displays and their narrow defeats to Leinster (29-33) and Sharks (37-42) will ensure Dan McFarland's side won't be taking them for granted.
Last Time Out
Ulster haven't hosted Zebre at Kingspan Stadium since March 2021 in the final regular season of the 2020/21 PRO14 championship.
The Ulster men ran in seven tries that night en route to a 49-3 win.
