QUB Ladies require Head Coach

Queen's University Belfast Rugby Football Club would are seeking a Head Coach for their Ladies 1st XV.

Over the past two years the ladies team at the club have established themselves as the top ladies team in Ulster after winning both the Ulster Qualifying League, and All Ireland League Division 2 North (both undefeated) as well as adding the Ulster Cup, the Carrick 10s (twice) and the CUSAI All Ireland Intervarsities 7s competition.

They have had 7 players involved with the Ulster Ladies team, and 3 involved with Ireland squads at either 15 a side or 7s level.

The successful applicant will be responsible for helping to organise and manage the development of players within the senior squad and the competitive performance of that squad. As such applicants must possess excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills; have a sound knowledge and understanding of rugby union in the modern era.

This is a part-time post with terms and conditions negotiable and would suit someone willing to work towards further coaching accreditation with the support of Queen’s University Belfast RFC. 

Desirable Criteria
- IRFU Level 1 Head Coach
- Willingness to coach two nights per week (Mon/ Wed) and attend Sunday games
