On Saturday 16 December, the Ulster men will play their first Investec Champions Cup home fixture against Racing 92. The Parisian club, with Stuart Lancaster now at the helm, have added Springbok World Cup winning captain Siya Kolisi and England rising star Henry Arundell to a squad that also includes the likes of French internationals Gaël Fickou and Cameron Woki.
On Friday 22 December, Connacht will travel to Belfast for a festive interpro derby that is always full of fireworks. Bundee Aki and Mack Hansen, who both starred for Ireland during the World Cup, will be among the squad heading north.
Then on Saturday 13 January Ulster host a star-studded Toulouse squad in another crucial Champions Cup tie. Antoine Dupont will lead the five-times champions of Europe, suitably supported by fellow French international marquee names such as Romain Ntamack, Julien Marchand and Thomas Ramos. The showdown will reignite memories of the epic Round of 16 tussle between the sides two years ago when Toulouse prevailed by a single point over two games.
