Referees Wanted For All Levels Of Rugby

The IRFU (Ulster Branch) and the Ulster Society of Rugby Football Referees (USRFR) are working in partnership to recruit and support volunteers to officiate at rugby matches at all levels of the domestic game in Ulster, including schools, youth and adult league and cup matches.

Why take up refereeing?
â?¢ STAY WITH THE GAME - after playing, refereeing offers an alternative way of staying fully involved with the game.
â?¢ SOCIAL - the social aspect of rugby is renowned and refereeing is a great way of meeting new people and making new friends.
â?¢ FITNESS - refereeing is a fantastic way to keep fit and the IRFU has the highest level of expertise in this area.
â?¢ TRAVEL - the higher level you reach as a referee, the more involvement you will have in European competitions, Celtic League and the All Ireland League.
â?¢ 'CLUB WITHIN A CLUB' - referees meet up regularly and there is a great team spirit.
â?¢ AMBITION - could you referee an international match? How far can you go?
â?¢ MATCH TICKETS - referees are allowed to apply for international and provincial match tickets.
