The winners will also earn a place in the Rosie Stewart Ulster Cup, which has been the pinnacle event in women’s rugby since the tragic passing of the cup’s namesake Rosie Stawart. This is Ulster’s top level competition and will see the return of the AIL clubs for domestic action!
Jen Goodall of ReJenerate Sports Massage, commented: "Having played rugby for over ten years myself I know how important it is to have something tangible to play for. I'm proud to continue sponsoring the ReJenerate Cup as it's fast becoming a very fierce competition. I'm excited to see the results pour in over the coming weeks and look forward to the final!"
This weekend Ballyshannon will take on rookies Omagh Accies in a speed filled encounter with Omagh proving themselves as contenders in the Development League. City of Derry have a bye into the semis with Ballymoney forced to withdraw. The newly formed Ballynahinch team face a difficult task against Qualifying league leaders Carrickfergus but the underdogs will have no fear and have gained great experience in the blitzes and matches played to date. Newry is emerging well from this season and will face a Cavan squad looking to get something from a season of hard games.
This cup will see some great clashes, so if you have a fixture near you, why not drop down and have a Sunday afternoon of great entertainment!
