Safe Rugby Course: Saturday 25th January

The IRFU and Ulster Rugby will host a SAFE Rugby Level 2 at Ravenhill on Saturday 25th January 2014.

This one-day rugby-specific, emergency pitchside care course is designed for medical practitioners, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals involved in club and school rugby.

The course is practically based and course modules include BLS and AED training, head/neck injuries, concussion, fracture management and match day preparation. There are also pre-course online modules to be completed and the course is recognised for 12 CPD points.

This is the second time that a SAFE Rugby Level 2 course has been held at Ravenhill, following on from the successful initial course in January 2013 organised with Ulster Rugby team doctor, Dr. Michael Webb.
