In recent weeks Ulster Rugby Season Ticket holders have been taking part in a mid-season survey, offering feedback on their experience and providing information that will help shape future decision making.
The survey received a fantastic response rate, with 2,245 Season Ticket holders providing feedback. A summary report is available to download below.
All respondents were entered into a prize draw with Jimmy Mulligan being selected as the lucky winner. Jimmy's season ticket will be renewed for free for the 2018/19 season.
Following completion of the survey, the findings were presented to the Ulster Rugby Supporters Club (URSC), a move welcomed by URSC Chair Jonathan Bill:
"We are very pleased that Ulster Rugby has again engaged with our most committed group of supporters to gather feedback and garner suggestions on how the overall Season Ticket holder experience can be improved.
"After reviewing the report, we agree with a number of the constructive suggestions and we expect Ulster Rugby to respond innovatively to these ahead of next season.
"With more than 2000 supporters completing the survey it is evident that Ulster fans are as passionate as ever. We therefore look forward to continuing to work with Ulster Rugby to fuel that passion in striving to provide the best possible experience for all Ulster supporters."
Fiona Hampton, Head of Sales & Marketing at Ulster Rugby, commented:
"At Ulster Rugby we are conscious that the landscape for our supporters is constantly changing, so it is important that we continuously engage with them to ensure we are providing the best possible experience.
"With that in mind, based on the feedback received from this survey and from meeting with URSC members, there are already a number of key changes that we have planned to introduce ahead of the 2018/19 season. These include a price freeze on 2017/18 prices with an option to purchase for two years at the current price, the introduction of a young adult (24 and under) season ticket, and more flexible payment plans.
"For loyal supporters, owning a season ticket continues to be the best value option and it helps secure vital finances for the club that are invested back into the senior team, our Academy, and into the domestic game across the Province.
"We would like thank all our season ticket holders for their continued support. We look forward to seeing and hearing you all at Kingspan Stadium as we approach the crucial last rounds of the season."
