Following a high uptake of Season Tickets during the renewal period and the ongoing uncertainty in relation to available capacity at Kingspan Stadium for the start of the new season, Ulster Rugby has taken the decision to postpone the general sale of new Season Tickets.
Monday 9 August and Monday 16 August had originally been pencilled in as dates for the priority window for #TogetherUlster Members and the general public on-sale respectively. When the time is right, 2020/21 #TogetherUlster Members will still have access to a priority window before Season Tickets are placed on general sale.
Supporters interested in purchasing Season Tickets are encouraged to register their interest on the waiting list, to ensure you are notified first when they become available.
We will continue to keep supporters informed as we receive updated guidance from the relevant authorities on available capacity, and the availability of both new Season Tickets and individual match tickets.
Ulster Rugby CEO, Jonny Petrie, said:
“It has been encouraging to see spectators back in larger numbers at various sporting events recently and we are all greatly looking forward to supporters returning to Kingspan Stadium. However, it is also important that we manage this process in a responsible manner to ensure the best possible experience for all.
“While it is tempting to continue to sell Season Tickets just now, it may present future challenges if we are unable to accommodate all purchasers, should we be placed under certain restrictions.
“It is only right that we prioritise our Season Ticket holders and we are confident that we will be able to satisfy the demand of our most loyal supporters when the new season kicks off next month.
“Ulster Rugby match days are special occasions, and we have all sorely missed the buzz you only get from under the Friday night lights at Kingspan Stadium. We are suitably prepared to adapt as restrictions continue to ease, and we are looking forward to welcoming you all back through the gates once again very soon.”
