Community Sport Development Officers from Ulster Rugby, Ulster GAA and the Irish Football Association recently virtually held part one of Sport Uniting Communities Volunteer Development Programme 2021.
In total, over 60 volunteers from 35 clubs across the province contributed to lively discussions. The focus of the evening was Roles and Responsibilities within our clubs. Dialogue surrounded two main areas:
- Differing roles in clubs across the three sports and the benefits they brought.
- How to get the right person for the roles using role and person specifications.
