Sports Development Conference 2013

Belfast City Council's 8th annual sports development conference will take place in the Holiday Inn, Belfast, on Wednesday 27 November 2013 at 6pm. Belfast City Council's 8th annual sports development conference will take place in the Holiday Inn, Belfast, on Wednesday 27 November 2013 at 6pm.

The 'Raise Your Game' conference will focus on current themes in sports development and will provide a variety of information aimed at sports clubs, coaches and administrators.

Special guests and partners from the world of sport will lead and deliver the following workshops:
- Attracting, rewarding and retaining volunteers (Lynne Greenwood, Volunteer Now)
- Issues with early specialisation in sport (David Haskins, Coachwise Ltd)
- Active Communities Belfast - Club Links (Peter Shaw and Billy Boyd, BCSDN)
- Club Funding (Conleth Donnelly, Sport NI)
- Using the web to increase sports participation (Pro Us All)
- Belfast Clubmark Scheme 2014 (Ryan Haire, Belfast City Council)

Registration takes place from 6pm and the conference will start at 6.30pm. To register for tickets, please complete the registration form.

Pre-paid tickets cost £5 per person. Tickets can be purchased on the night for £10 per person. Clubmark Clubs can benefit from our pre-pay buy-one-get-one-free deal for £5.
