The Ulster Rugby medical team have issued a squad update ahead of Guinness PRO14 Round 11 game versus Munster at Kingspan Stadium on Friday.
Iain Henderson had surgery today (Monday) to repair a torn ligament in his thumb. This is expected to make him unavailable for selection for approximately 10 weeks.
Matthew Rea sustained a thumb fracture playing for Ballymena RFC on Saturday and had surgery today (Monday). He is expected to be sidelined for 8-10 weeks.
