The Ulster Rugby Medical Performance team has issued a squad update ahead of Saturday’s United Rugby Championship fixture against Zebre at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi.
John Cooney sustained a hamstring strain during Friday’s game against Glasgow at Kingspan Stadium. He will have an MRI scan today to further assess this injury.
He joins the following players who are currently unavailable for selection due to injury:
