St. Columb's College Win Donegal U14 Championship

The Donegal Schools' Committee completed the 2013-14 competition programme with the U14s Championship at Letterkenny RFC.



Before Easter, nine schools took part in the first round of games which seeded schools for the 2nd round with three trophies at stake. Overall winners of the Ronan Scott Memorial Trophy were St. Columb's College Derry. The Shield went to Colaiste Cholmcille Ballyshannon and silver salver was won by Carndonagh Community School.

Richard Ogujawa (pictured below) from St. Eunan's College Letterkenny was awarded the Ulster Carpets Player of the Tournament award.

Donegal Schools' Committee Chaiman Mark Spencer thanked Ulster Branch staff Darren McGuigan and Shaun Bloomfield for running of the event, Billy O'Gorman and Shane Toolan from the Ulster Referees for officiating and Letterkenny RFC for kind use of their facilities.
