The programme, designed by Unify Sport, is focused on giving young people from the BME community an opportunity to explore career opportunities in the world of sport, develop new skills through the delivery of different projects and developing an action plan to achieve established goals.
Andrew McCreery, Oasis Youth club worker stated: "Our young people learnt a lot from the session delivered by Ulster Rugby’s fitness and education coach Paul Heasley. Through this project we aim to support the young people in becoming aware of the opportunities in the world of sport, enhance their careers prospects and develop skills that will help them make a positive contribution in our local communities through the projects they will be working on with Unify."
