The Ulster A team has been named to play Leinster A in the Celtic Cup final this Sunday 13 October (kick-off 3pm, Energia Park, Donnybrook).
19-year-old flanker, David McCann, will again captain Ulster, who go into the final with five wins from seven in this campaign. McCann will be joined in the back row by Joe Dunleavy and Marcus Rea.
Loosehead prop Callum Reid returns to the front row and joins Zack McCall and Andrew Warwick. David O’Connor and Jack Regan retain their places in the second row.
Two of the three changes from the side who started against Munster last week are in the back line, with prolific try-scorer, Ross Adair coming back into the midfield alongside Hayden Hyde. Nathan Doak returns to start at scrum half alongside Bruce Houston at fly half. Angus Kernohan, Graham Curtis and Ethan McIlroy again start in the back three.
The forwards bench options are Tom Stewart, Tommy O’Hagan, Peter Cooper, Matthew Dalton and Matthew Agnew, while Jonny Stewart, Luke Pollock and Sean Kearns will provide cover in the backs.
