Ulster A team named for Connacht hit-out

The Ulster A team has been named to face Connacht Eagles in a challenge game at Galwegians RFC on Friday 13th December, kick-off 2pm. In the back three, Ethan McIlroy has been selected at full-back, and is joined by Luke Pollock and Conor Rankin on the wings. Stewart Moore and Hayden Hyde will make up the midfield pairing. In the half-backs, Bruce Houston will start at fly-half and Lewis Finlay lines out at scrum-half. The starting front row includes Callum Reid on the loosehead side, Tom Stewart at hooker, and Peter Cooper at tighthead prop. In the engine room, Matthew Dalton will partner up with Jack Regan. Joe Dunleavy is selected on the blindside flank, with Azur Allison at number 8 and David McCann on the openside position will also captain the side. On the bench, Zack McCall, George Saunderson, Paul Mullen, Conor McMenamin and Matthew Agnew will provide forward reinforcements, with Nathan Doak, Greg Hutley, Ben Moxham, Ben Power offering backline cover.
