The Ulster A team, sponsored by CD Group, will take on Munster A in an inter-provincial clash at Naas RFC on Thursday afternoon (kick off 3.00pm).
Alex Codling’s panel will feature a number of senior squad members such as Darren Cave, who will captain the side, and Andy Warwick, who missed Friday’s game against Connacht because of illness.
Ireland U20 star Johnny McPhillips, who signed a development contract with the Province this week, will be included in the squad, along with the likes of Jacob Stockdale and Rory Scholes.
The match also represents an opportunity for some Academy and club players to stake their claims for involvement in Les Kiss’ senior squad, with Hughes Insurance Academy second rows Alex Thompson and John Donnan among those who will be looking to impress.
